Experience
She started her working career with the Federal Ministry of Health in 1982 and retired as the Director (Registration and Regulatory Affairs) in the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Nigeria in 2017. Her career in the Federal Ministry of Health and NAFDAC spanned various directorates, special assignments and sensitive positions including Director, Drug Evaluation and Research, Deputy Director in-charge of Establishment Inspection, Lagos Special Zone, Head, Central Drug and Vaccine Control Laboratory, Lagos, Deputy Director in-charge, Narcotics and Controlled Substances and Deputy Director, Enforcement.
A Lead Auditor with vast experience in Quality Management Systems and Regulatory process, she attended several local and international trainings, workshops and meetings on quality assurance of medicines, blood and blood products, vaccines, cGMP inspection of manufacturing facilities, dossier review, regulatory science
