As Nigeria continues to encourage her citizens in knowing their HIV status through the use of self test kits, representative of Biolytical Laboratory (Canada) EURO-SPECS INTERNATIONAL(NIG) LTD has extended its services to Kebbi State Agency for the Control of Aids SACA with presentation of some Biolytical Insti HIV self test kits.
Not only that health workers and other officials were also trained on how to use the kits optimally.
The Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director Alhaji Majekodunmi Aborode who hails from Oyo state said his organization is interested in ensuring that the larger percentage of Nigerians know their HIV status without necessarily passing through the tedious old method of verifying HIV Status.
He says Biolytical Insti HIV test kit is reliable,accurate, fast, less cumbersome and easy to use.
Appreciating the gesture the Kebbi State Government expressed gratitude to the donor saying the donation will go a long way in reducing cases of fatalities from HIV infections especially those who are carrying the infections but do not know they had been infected with the virus.
